Getting started on roughing in the depth cuts on the beach wood scabbard, ebony belt loop and grip of the short sword. The designs are all based on the depictions in the stonework at Govan...a Pictish warrior/shepherd on his horse, with his dog and lamb below on the scabbard, ram's head on the belt loop, and rams on the grip.
