Forging the Claymore toungue and collar piece

This is the second part of the two piece crossguard. Based on the photo of the Claymore in the National museum, I used a 1.25" steel tube. I drilled holes and cut it to make two identical pieces (one to save for next time).

Then began to forge it to desired shape with hammer and chisel...
